Congratulations Master and Phd students from KMUTTFixed Point Lab. Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, KMUTT received Best paper awards of the 9th international workshop on Fixed Point and Rough set theories, and Applied topology (IWFRA-2018) 18-20 June 2018 at Chonbuk National University, Jeonju, Korea.

Best paper award

1. "An improved three-term derivative-free method for solving nonlinear equations" by Auwal Bala Abubakar.

2. "An improved three-term spectral conjugate gradient algorithms for system of nonlinear equations" by Aliyu Muhammed Awwal.

3. "Hybrid optimization algorithm of particle swarm optimization and covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy" by Nawaphong Yoochum.

  

FSci, KMUTT has launched FSci International Internship Program 2018 for required posts, and the duration of the program will be two months from 18 June to 20 August 2017 (arrival of the selected students should be between June 16-17, 2018 and departure should be between August 21-22, 2018).

 

The selected students will receive academic research training in laboratory detail as in the enclosed first announcement leaflet and the enclosed 1st Guidance. All students will be asked to give internship reports and presentations. At the end of the program, the students will deliver final presentations.

You are invited for the NANO Camp #3, which will be held on 30th June – 2nd July, 2017 in King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) Thailand, where we all will be cherishing our beautiful campsite this summer! Registrations are now open; we look forward to receiving yourregistrations!
NANO Camp #3 is a platform camp to unite and meet young generation to have meaningful experiences by introducing nanoscience and nanotechnology and doing some excitingly valuable activities.
After successfully organizing the first NANO Camp #1 in 2014, and the NANO Camp #2 last April 2016, we will be holding Nano Camp #3. This camp focuses on introducing nanoscience and nanotechnology to young generation, boost international friendship, encourage social awareness and appreciate cultural exchange.

Eligibilities:
• Youth (third year of bachelor and above)
• All nationalities
• Good health (physically and mentally)
• Good communication skill and knowledge
• Able to work independently as well as work in team
