I am a doctoral degree student, majoring in Physics at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). I got the opportunity for internship at UTM, Malaysia. I studied the electronic nose, gas sensor system and how to interface these units with mobile devices at Faculty of Biosciences and Medical Engineering (FBME), UTM under the supervision of Dr. Fauzan Khairi Che Harun. This study was very beneficial to my research because my research fabricates TiO2 nanostructure by electron beam evaporation with GLAD technique for sensing applications which is only one part of gas sensor systems. Moreover, I got new experiences of living in new environment by myself. Firstly, I could practice my English communication skill because English language is the common language in Malaysia. Secondly, Muslim is the main religion so I had learnt to respect their religion and to adapt to new food without pork. Thirdly, I made new friends at new places. The last, I had attended new activities such as horse riding and potato digging with my laboratory partners. I really appreciate the supports I got from KMUTT Enhancing Student Mobility 2017 Program, FSci Outbound Program and my supervisor, Dr. Tula Jutarosaga to enable me to have the new great experience and knowledge that were very useful to improve myself and my research. <Benjarong >
